White metal struck medalet with obverse showing nude bust of Washington within two concentric circles, facing right, with surrounding legend: "CENTENNIAL INAUGURAL CELEBRATION, NEW YORK/APRIL 30 1889." Reverse shows building at center with inscription in exergue: "FEDERAL HALL/WALL ST./N.Y."; legend: "WHERE HE WAS INAUGURATED FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE U.S." Hole punched at top center.
