Description:
Pair of naval officer's epaulets; rigid, gold lace covered strap with a gilded metal button embossed with an eagle perched on an anchor, and a silver anchor centered inside crescent; two layers of gold bullion fringe, the outermost measuring 3 inches in length and 3/8 inch in diameter; padded black velvet lining and brass strap fastener; in black painted metal storage box which is rectangular in shape with rounded corners, and has a hinged lid with flat top and wire handle; thirteen pieces of miscellaneous naval uniform accessories (INV.8274a-m) found inside box.
