These buildings are nos. 168 to 178 on Broadway as they appeared ca. 1848. The structure at the left at the northeast corner of Broadway and Maiden lane is the Howard Hotel. This watercolor was copied from Jones and Newman's Pictorial Directory of New York (1848).
