Doll's hat in a half-moon shape of stiffened white netting trimmed in white lace with metal beads along the crown and a pin of two gold oak leaves with paste jewels on the proper right; white silk ties.

According to the accession records, this was purchased with a doll named "Marie" by Augustus Cory Richards in Paris in 1867 for his granddaughter, Edith Gray Richards, mother of the donor.
