Description:
Wood four post bedstead with full set of floral block-printed cotton bed hangings including linen mattress and pillow.
Gallery Label:
The floral cotton used for these bedhangings was likely printed in England in the 1820s. The fabric, which shows signs of wear and repair, may have originally decorated a full-size bed and been adapted later for this doll-size bedstead.
