Description:
Drape-molded redware plate with serrated rim; slip-decorated interior with sgrafffito: central image of a spread eagle with shield clutching both stems of a potted tulip plant with a fan-shaped medallion with compass drawn arches and enclosed inscription above, and a surrounding border inscription in old German; with green patches under a lead glaze.
