The casually organic "Tomorrow's Classic" dinner service was one of Eva Zeisel's most popular designs. Hall China Company engaged Zeisel to provide patterns for printed decals to ornament the plain white dinnerware. Many decals were designed by her studio assistants and industrial design students at Pratt Institute. This pattern, known as Buckingham, was inspired by the wrought ironwork fence outside Zeisel's studio on West 115th Street and Riverside Drive.
