Decanter with stopper
Overall: 11 x 5 in. ( 27.9 x 12.7 cm )
Colorless blown and cut lead glass decanter; bulbous form with sloping shoulders cut with wide flutes at base and shoulders with band of alternating circular printies with blaze and strawberry diamonds with fan, tapered neck with three applied rings and flanged lip, and flat base with polished pontil mark; cut stopper with faceted ball on tapered stem with ground plug (possibly not original).
The cut decoration on this decanter is similar to decoration on a sugar bowl and lamp in the Toledo Museum, and a mug in the Corning Museum that are attributed to the Union Flint Glass Works (see publications).
