Spun silver creamer; plain hemispherical body made in halves and joined around the middle with a die-rolled decorative band; band of hearts and foliate scrolls on a textured ground between two plain bands; applied, plain vertical footring; applied, vertical beaded band below flared and serrated rim with a wide pouring lip; cast in halves and seamed loop handle with a pointed leaf thumbpiece with leaf and berry motifs below; stylized acanthus upper handle attachment and teardrop shaped lower attachment; "1871" engraved in overlapping gothic numerals on the front centers, "M A B" engraved in gothic script on the rear centers; maker's marks on the bases.
