Brass struck medal with obverse showing scene with Native Americans trading with European settlers with ornate garland above; inscription at top: "THE/COMMERCIAL/TERCENTENARY/OF NEW YORK 1614-1914." Reverse shows New York City skyline with tablet above, inscribed: "EXPOSITION" and surrounded by four shields bearing heraldic symbols of New York.
