White metal struck medal with obverse showing the building of Haverford College at center dated "1869" below; legend: "HAVERFORD COLLEGE/PENNSYLVANIA." Reverse shows open book inscribed "HOLY BIBLE" with burning oil lamp at center, date above: "1833"; with legend: " 'NON DOCTIOR SED MELIORE DOCTRINA IMBUTUS'/FOUNDED BY THE/SOCIETY OF FRIENDS/MEMORIAL OF CLASS OF 1862."
