Chrysler Building with gargolye.
Cane collector Lou Grumet acquired a number of antique canes related to iconic American leaders, and then broadened his collection by commissioning Vancouver yacht maker and cane carver Ivan Wilson to create a cane commemorating the Chrysler Building. The building was developed by the automaker Walter Chrysler and was intended to be the tallest in the world, but a rival group, under the leadership of former Governor Al Smith quickly eclipsed it. The cane has the Chrysler Building etched into the shaft, and has a replica of one of the gargoyles on the building as its handle.
