Copper coin; profile bust of female on front enclosed by inscription; on back is a female figure of Liberty holding a staff and leaning on a shield, also enclosed by inscription.
Gallery Label: 
This coin was found by Reginald P.Bolton, William L. Calver, and others before the formation of the Field Exploration Committee in 1918, at 179th Street west of Broadway in Manhattan. The coin was probably discarded.
