Rectangular gold clasp fastener in two pieces, one slides into the other, monogram on obverse, each side has three perforations for attachment to article of jewelry.
Gallery Label: 
This clasp belonged to the donor's mother, Mary Haines Ogden (1817-1879), and Jane Lewes (Cochran) Ogden, who married John Mead Sherwood in 1840.
