Bronze die-struck medal with obverse depicting portrait of Saint Brendan holding his attributes, a ship and a sea monster; legend above: "BEATVS . BRENDANVS . DEVELATOR . AMERICAE PRISCVS"; inscribed in ex.: "A o D i C DLXV ."; all within beaded and line border. Reverse shows standing nude male figure in loin cloth, with both arms stretched upwards; bird symbolizing human spirit above; glory behind his head; chalice at his right; legend above: "HE THAT SEEKETH SHALL FIND"; inscription below: "O .
