Two olive-drab felt patches with varying numbers of drab chevrons at top; one has two chevrons, and the other has three; both have at bottom a gold thread eagle perched atop a wheel, which is surmounted by a crossed key and sword.
These chevrons were worn by enlisted men in the U.S. Army Quartermaster General's Department, on the upper sleeves of their uniform jackets. Two chevrons denote a corporal, and three a sergeant.
