Cast iron box with hinged lid, in the form of log cabin, with peaked roof and chimney (painted red), on base; two windows cut out, backed with piece of tinned sheet iron, painted red; cast details include door, doorstep, and texture of roof and walls; on bottom, pattern of evenly spaced holes, cut-out, and backed with piece of tinned sheet iron, painted red.
According to accession records, this log cabin (one of a pair donated by Mrs. McKesson) was used during the presidential campaign of William Henry Harrison (1773-1841).
