Leather, wood, brass, and cotton cartridge box; rectangular black leather box with brass brush and pick suspended from two brass fob-type chains fastened to white canvas sling that passes through two vertical belt loops in rear of box, and flap with fastening strap; box contains wooden block with twenty-four bored holes for cartridges.
This cartridge box was used with a carbine, and was formerly part of the Francis Bannerman collection.
