Description:
Leather and brass cartridge pouch; rectangular black leather pouch with two vertical belt loops riveted and sewn to back, and sewn strap that fastens to cone-shaped brass stud on top of lid; two canvas strips with ten cartridge loops sewn to inside of pouch; stamped marks on front and on fastening strap.

This pouch was formerly part of the Francis Bannerman collection. It was probably used with a revolver.
