This stagebill from Carnegie Hall has relevance to 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Seiji Ozawa, the music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, chose to conduct Berlioz' "Requiem" in place of the originally scheduled program of Schumann's "Scenes From Goethe's Faust". Performances on 10/16 and 10/17 of 2001 were given in memory of those who were lost, and in tribute to those who lost loved ones.
