Grand Central station and, Greek god, Mercury.
Grand Central Station has become one of New York's major icons. Vancouver yacht maker and carver Ivan Wilson was asked to carve a cane that celebrated the Station. The handle of the cane depicts the Greek God Mercury, as a statue of this figure is located on the building's facade. The station is depicted on the shaft.
