Description:
This tiny rectangular orange tin has black printing on it that reads "For Coughs due to Colds/ Y&S/ Licorice Wafers/ Active ingredients/ Licorice and Anise/ Nt.Wt. 1/2 oz.-Ten Cents/ National Licorice Company/ Brooklyn, N.Y.". On the reverse "Licorice/ is the old fashioned relief/ for minor throat irritations/ Licorice Y&S Wafers/ Always Keep A/ Tin Handy". Inside "Pleasing to Taste/ Soothing to/ Smokers', Speakers'/ and Singers' Throats". See also 2002.1.2508 through 2002.1.2510.
