Description:
Cast silver plate candle snuffer and tray; scissors form snuffer with flat, shaped arms; one arm with a triangular, pointed end and an applied rectangular pan with rounded corners; short, opposite arm fitted with a vertically applied conforming blade; two applied, shell motifs across the top of the pan; circular pivot with an applied, domed, gadrooned disk; oval grips joined to the arms with cast, c-scrolls; three cast ball feet applied to the outsides of the grips and the base of the pointed arm; rectangular stand with raised convex sides, an applied gadrooned rim withshell and foliate scrolls applied to the sides; no maker's marks.
