Description:
Gray felt campaign hat with deep center depression in crown and wide, soft brim; narrow silk ribbon band of matching color; two small circular holes punched in top and four triangular vents cut in sides for ventilation; leather sweatband.

According to the accession records, this hat was worn by Colonel George Creighton Webb (1853-1948) in the Spanish-American War.
