Along bottom edge: 9th Ave. & 33rd St. NYC" The stainless-steel, Arte Moderne railroad-car style Cheyenne Diner opened in 1940. Featuring burgers (20 varieties) and traditional diner-style “comfort food," the Cheyenne Diner was extremely popular with nearby residents, tourists and those working in the area. It closed in 2008 to make way for a residential tower.
