Description:
Reddish-brown, stained/lacquered wood handle, tapers slightly to end. Handle broken in half. Conical, rusted metal ferrule. Chestnut colored bristles.

Devoe did not begin making brushes until the late 1870s. The company became F.W. Devoe & C.T. Raynolds in 1890.
