Description:
Black painted wood handle, tapers to end, bulges toward ferrule. Seamed, cylindrical metal ferrule, with arced head, and "///" pattern in ring around base. Variegated white and black bristles.
Gallery Label:
Devoe did not begin making brushes until the late 1870s. The company became F.W. Devoe & C.T. Raynolds in 1890.
