Stamped "ROWNEY DILLON & ROWNEY" on handle. Base of ferrule has two rows of "III" pattern.
Brown stained/lacquered wood handle, tapers to end, curves in at ferrule. Seamed, cylindrical metal ferrule. White bristles, damaged.
Rowney, Dillon & Rowney - This iteration of the company only existed between 1844 and 1848.
