Description:
Woven hair brooch in shape of 2 loops pulled through each other; gold metal leaf attached to pin decorates the fron; 3 drops dangle from pin attachment (larger central drop detached); loop end covered with metal chased with foliate designs; pin attachment.

According to the accession notes, this brooch was made from the hair of Jane McLean Patterson Livingston, the daughter of Matthew Patterson and the wife of Henry Livingston.
