Rectangular wooden box made to hold a collection of silver flatware; lined with green velvet; silver plaque on the lid engraved, "KATHERINE LAWRENCE/ HER SILVER/ Katherine, daughter of Martha/ and John Brown Lawrence/ married Jackson Brown Frenchy/ October 1st 1790 at Burlington, N. J." in block letters and script.
