Description:
One of two silver bon bon servers of pierced and chased flower and scroll design with lyre motif at end of handle, one (b) with gilding on bowl; engraved inscription on back of lyre; stamped maker's mark on back edge of bowl.
Gallery Label:
Referred to in Tiffany & Co. catalogs as a "bon bon server," the larger versions were used to pass candy. The form is also sometimes called a "bonbonniere."
