Wrought iron bent in V-shaped cylindrical bolt.
This bolt is from the starboard rail of the U.S War Galley the 'Trumbull', sunk ooof of Fort Ticonderoga in 1777. The wreck is only visible inabnormally low water off of Lake Champlain. The bolt was taken by the donor in 1933. The bolt is bent from the action of the ice on the lake.
