Description:
Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing seated medieval manuscript illuminator writing upon scroll; legend: "THE BIBLIOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY." Reverse shows group of people around printing press engaged in related activities. Sqaure red leather fitted case with cream-colored silk velvet and silk satin lining; rectangular brown cloth-bound book-like folding mount with outer sleeve.
