Description:
Cast and molded silver gilt berry scoop has columnar handle trimmed with beaded bands and end in form of helmet topped by small animal; molded handle socket; shovel-shaped bowl has tapered fluting at opening and scrolled pierced work along the back of bowl; bowl obverse also has engraved foliate drop; joint of handle and bowl has applied, cast winged angel head; bowl reverse engraved with gothic-style cipher "MAB"; handle end also engraved with gothic-style "B".
