Description:
Black leather bell crown cap with lower edge extending into a deep point in back and visor with underside painted green; cockade in the form of a leather rosette with a button at center embossed with an eagle above the word "Excelsior"; gold metallic cloth tape in the form of an inverted "V" stitched to front (not original); tall plume with white and blue feathers.
