This is a copy by an unidentifed artist from a lithograph published in 1867 entitled The Battle of Shiloh, Fought the 6th & 7th of April 1862, drawn from nature and published by William F. Mann of Company G, 13th Louisiana Volunteers. The lithograph was by Max Rosenthal and was printed by L.N. Rosenthal (Philadelphia).
