Description:
Rubber-covered ball with wavy wire inlay and blue glass beads affixed to surface with pins; other blue glass beads hang from chains; ball mounted on long metal spike.

According to a note written on the paper wrapper in which this and other objects were found, it is a relic collected by Herbert D. Halsey, and was donated in 1941.
