Description:
Brass-colored metal pin with suspended ribbon and badge. Rectangular pin has text, "DELEGATE". Red ribbon with gold printed text suspended from the badge reads "59TH ANNUAL CONV./FIREMEN'S/ASSOCIATION/STATE OF NEW YORK/TROY N.Y./AUGUST 18-21, 1931". Round, suspended badge features the seal of Troy, NY, with large sailing ships in the background and unloaded trade goods including a sheaf of grain and boxes in the foregound. Text around the seal reads, "CITY CORPORATION/TROY, N.Y./ILIUM FUIT, TROJA EST". (Latin translation: Ilium was, Troy is)
