Gold struck medal with obverse depicting a man fishing with legend: "THE ANGLERS' CLUB of NEW YORK/HONOR MEDAL." Reverse shows fish pursuing bait with inscription: "FOR/OUTSTANDING/SERVICE IN/THE FIELDS OF/CONSERVATION/ICHTHYOLOGY/THE SPORT/OF/ANGLING." Rectangular black leather fitted case with burgundy red silk velvet and silk satin lining.
