Pewter struck medal with obverse depicting scene within rectangular raised tablet with inscription: "DECLARATION/OF/INDEPENDENCE/PHILADELPHIA/1776." Reverse depicts three buildings labelled: "MEMORIAL HALL," "MAIN EXHIBITION BUILDING," and "HORTICULTURAL HALL"; legend: "CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION/1876." Hole punched at top.
