Cream colored, wove, hand-made paper folded in half. Several dark spots scattered around paper. Cut straight across one side. Discolored around edges from sum.
According to the accession records, this tabouret was used by Asher B. Durand, an artist and engraver best known for his Hudson River school paintings.
