Midwifery has been a vital female profession for thousands of years, and has faced periods of both marginalization and revitalization. Join us for a conversation with nurse-midwife Patricia Loftman, midwife Paulomi “Mimi” Niles, and N-YHS curatorial scholar in women's history Sarah Gordon as we discuss the history of midwifery in New York, United States, and the world.
Refreshments will be served.
