A Night at The Garden

7 minutes 9 seconds

2018, directed and edited by Marshall Curry
Nominated for the 2019 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short, Marshall Curry's acclaimed documentary explores a stunning moment in New York City history: a 1939 rally at Madison Square Garden during which 20,000 Americans gathered to celebrate the rise of Nazism. Made entirely of archival footage, A Night at The Garden transports audiences to this chilling gathering and shines a light on the power of demagoguery and anti-Semitism in the United States. Curry joined us for a sold-out screening and event in February 2020. Learn more about the film and the rally on his website
