Description:
Black silk woman's dress with a short, slightly pointed, bodice with stays below the bustline; back panels of the bodice embroidered with black flowers; bodice closes up the back with fourteen metal hook and eye closures; round, off-the-shoulder neck line decorated with a band of pleated black tulle and trimmed with machine-made white lace above and a band of hand-made black tatted lace below; short, flared sleeves made of the embroidered silk with puffed and ruffled machine-made white lace cuffs; skirt heavily pleated around the lace with panels of the embroidered silk at the sides and the plain black silk in the front and back; interior skirt of black silk with a pleated ruffle around the bottom.
