Wine glass

Object Number:
Overall: 5 1/2 x 2 1/4 in. ( 14 x 5.7 cm )
Colorless non-lead blown glass wine glass; bucket-shaped bowl with tear-shaped air bubble in base joined by multiple-knopped stem to conical base with folded-under rim and pontil mark; bowl engraved with three floral sprays.
Gallery Label:
Though a related document was mentioned in the original computer record, no such document was located as of 8/98. Despite the fact that the wine glass appears, superficially, to date to the eighteenth century, the unusual, multi-knopped stem and lack of wear suggest a later date of manufacture.
