engraved: on one side above the base: "M B D to J M H" in script stamped: under the large oval: two double crosses
Seamed silver whistle and bells; rectangular whistle with rounded sides, tapering from the base to the rounded mouth; both sides engraved with a floral motif at the bottom; two ovals applied around the center of the body, one larger than the other with applied scalloped sides and engraving on the tops; bells hung from metal loops strung through the scalloped sides, four on the smaller, six on the larger; loop applied above the smaller oval; semi circular opening cut above the small oval on the opposite side; engraved on one side above the base, "M B D to J M H" in script; control marks stamped under the large oval.
