Inscription: engraved on front: "Jane Borrowe/ from/ Ann Colt" in script Mark: stamped on base: "G. BOYCE" in a conforming rectangle over "N. Y." in a conforming rectangle Mark: square surround superimposed on center punch, which may be a pseudohallmark
Wrought silver waste bowl; plain conical body with a concave shoulder, short neck and an applied, scalloped and gadrooned rim; seated on a round scalloped and gadrooned base with a round gadrooned pedestal; engraved, "Jane Borrowe/ from/ Ann Colt" in script on the front; maker's mark on the base.
