Description:
Wallet worked in muticolored woolen needlepoint and embroidery on linen ground, having geometric pattern throughout, linen tape edging; when opened, each side originally had two compartments with accordioned sides made of paper lined with silk, inscription across top edges of both opened sides.
Gallery Label:
This wallet belonged to Robert Sinclair, who came from Scotland circa 1740; he died in 1775.
