Description:
White double-breasted waistcoat (probably for wedding); front is made of silk brocade with rosebud design throughout, lapels (no collar), 8 silk-covered buttons down each side, pocket flaps at the stomach (no pockets); point embroidery on lapels and across the stomach in floral and leaf garland design in silk floss and metal thread, yellow chain stitch border around outer edge; plain back and lining made of white linen.
