Waistcoat with yellow broadcloth front panels; band collar, two rectangular pockets at the waistline; ten holes from removed buttons, ten button holes; natural linen lining and back panel.

Acording to accession records, this waistcoat belonged to Governor Benjamin Pierce. Pierce was elected Governor of New Hampshire in 1827 and 1829.
